Charpai or Charpoy or Charpaya is called as Nulaka Mancham in our language Telugu. Usually this traditional indian daybed was used in rural areas during olden times. But these days urban people are preferring to use this in the balconies. This day bed is very comfortable to have a good family time, have chai sitting in the balcony or spending some lonely time seeing the outside world.
Charpoi is traditionally made out of a wooden frame and natural-fiber ropes with different weaving patterns in various states across India.
